After landing on the home page, select the Register Now button underneath the orange Job Seeker login box. A new page will open where you will be required to complete the registration form. In order to register you will be required to complete security settings, brief personal information as well as your desired job profile.

Job Seekers have free access to the Jobs.co.za website. There are no registration fees nor are there cost involved when uploading your CV, applying to job adverts or being successfully placed through the Jobs.co.za recruitment platform.

If you are a Job Seeker looking for a new employment opportunity or a Recruiter looking to fill an available job vacancy, Jobs.co.za will make your task both simple and effective in achieving your recruitment goals.

Due to confidentiality restriction, only registered labour brokers or legitimate recruitment agencies will have search access to your CV and profile. By applying to advertised job adverts, job seekers are responsible for sending their CV's to relevant job vacancies. Once registered, Job Seekers are able to mark their CV as Searchable or Hidden. CV's marked as searchable may be accessed by registered recruiters. CV's marked as Hidden are blocked from being searched. While your CV may be blocked, your Profile will be visible at all times.

Making sure that you are in the Orange Job Seeker zone, follow the orange bar tab, five topics to the right where you will find "Job Seeker Advice". Select the option from the bar tab and find six categories of Job Seeker Advice.

All Job Seekers are automatically subscribed to the informative monthly Job Seeker Newsletter containing articles, news, events and the latest priority jobs. Login to Jobs and go to My Job Seeker, scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will find the lasts Jobs newsletter as well as an Unsubscribe button for you to action.

Job Seeker tools include the following: My Video Profile, My Jobs.co.za Favourites, My Salary Checker and My CV Attachments. My Video Profile is exactly that, a video profile that recruiters can view in order to further assess the relevancy of your application to their advertised job vacancy. My Jobs.co.za Favourites is where you are able to store articles, blog posts or any other content you wish to have easy access to. My Salary Checker is a great tool to use when comparing your salary to that of what is market related. Finally, My CV Attachments is your personal library where you are able to upload documents that accompany your CV. Such documents include certificates, letters of recommendations and anything else that recruiters may request from you when assessing you application.

You are able to create or upload up to three CV's onto Jobs.co.za. This is the best way to apply to job vacancies with tailored CV's. Always apply to each job vacancy with a relevant CV that is specifically detailed for each job vacancy.

My Job Seeker is your personal management suite. Here you are able to access all Job Seeker tools and functionality in one zone.

Your Profile contains editable personal and sign in information as well as your desired job preferences used to match your criteria against suitable job adverts by our Job Matchmaker.

After logging in, you are able to edit and update your profile as required. Be sure to be in the My Job Seeker zone. Just beneath your Activity Overview you have the option to view or edit your profile.

You can create up to 3 versions of your CV to individually target each job application. Each CV has a unique title to easily identify it. Create a CV using our template or upload your CV in 5 minutes.

A cover note is a letter that introduces you to recruiters upon applying to job vacancies. When applying to job ads, you will have the option to select a Standard Cover Note or to create a Customized Cover Note using our recommended guided Cover Note Template.

The Job Navigator Search allows you to search jobs by distance. Enter your keywords, select your location, choose a maximum distance and click on the map to view matching jobs in your chosen area. Find a job closer to home and avoid hours of traffic and frustration.

You can save any job from the job search results page at any time to apply to it later. You will be notified when a saved job is about to expire so that you can get your job application in before it's too late.

The Job Matchmaker automatically matches your Job Seeker Profile to potentially suitable job ads matching your desired job preferences. This is why it is important to keep your Profile up to date and accurate at all times. You never know when you might get matched.

When searching for a job, you have five different search options to select from, depending on your needs. You can either run a Quick Search, Advanced Search, Job Navigator Search, Search by Recruiter and Browse Jobs.

A Quick Search is the simplest way to run a search on Jobs.co.za. Using keywords, job function, industry and location to refine your search results by.

An Advanced Search refines your search results much more than a quick search. Searching using detailed criteria as stipulated by you, you are able to fine tune your search results to exactly what you are looking for.

A Job Navigator Search is where Job seekers can search for job vacancies within a desired location. By stating the role you are searching for, the range in kilometres and the area that you are searching in, the Job Navigator Search results will be positions only falling within that specific location.

To find a recruiter most suited to your job preferences, search for your favourite recruiter by name or search for recruiters that advertise jobs in your particular location or industry.

Selecting the Browse Jobs button allows you to view the most popular job ads viewed by Job Seekers or browse all advertised jobs quickly by job function, industry or recruiter.
