AP6063/2011) &bull PretoriaRequirements &bull A recognised Bachelor&rsquos degree in Natural Science, Environmental Sciences, Development Studies or an equivalent threeyear qualification &bull Extensive relevant experience in coordination &bull Knowledge of poverty alleviation programmes of Government, specifically the EPWP and programmes implemented in the Environment and Culture Sector and applicable legislation governing the implementation of EPWP &bull Understanding of reporting protocols within Government &bull Extensive knowledge of EPWP reporting requirements and systems employed &bull Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines &bull Experience in middle management &bull Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets &bull Sound numerical and analytical acumen &bull Proven communication (written and verbal) skills &bull Interpersonal and problemsolving skills &bull Experience in human resources and financial management &bull Valid Code B driver&rsquos licence is compulsory &bull Willingness to travel extensively.Duties &bull Champion the EPWP Environment and Culture Sector by ensuring that effective and functioning coordinating structures are in place (sector committee and subcommittees) &bull Assist sector public bodies in the identification, planning and implementation of areas of expansion of sector programmes &bull Provide guidance and support to the provincial lead sector departments with their coordination responsibilities &bull Manage internal reporting on the EPWP reporting system and also provide support to sector bodies in terms of reporting on the system &bull Oversee the implementation of the E&C Sector Plan &bull Manage staff in the Subdirectorate.Enquiries Mr Makgale Moela, tel.
