You will be an innovative and forward thinker with excellent attention to detail and enjoy multi:tasking. A high level of customer service, a flexible work attitude, proven team player and enthusiastic approach to change is needed. Those with recent exposure to exclusive 5 star properties in remote locations are encouraged . The successful candidates will be required to live onsite. One day per week offJob Description:General Manager Job Description: : Overall responsibility for the operations of the Lodge: Analyze company operations to pinpoint opportunities and areas that need to be reorganized, downsized, or eliminated : Allocate funds to departments and approve expenditures based on budgetary guidelines : Establish expected standards for service to guests and members, decor, housekeeping, food quality, and FOH operations : Supervise immediate reportees: Manage the Hotel to achieve the set financial target : Meet and Greet guests : Establish and maintain cordial relationships with hotel members : Responsible for preparing budgets, marketing strategies and setting targets for the Hotel: Prepare and submit reports to the property owners of the Lodge : Live on Lodge premises and be on call 24 hours a day to resolve problems or emergencies : Review and analyze expenditure, financial, and operations reports to determine requirements for increasing profits, such as need for increase in subscription : Recommend capital expenditures for acquisition of new equipment, which would increase efficiency and services: Approve requisitions for equipment, materials, and supplies within limits of the budget : Direct investigations into causes of customer complaints and report to Management Committee, if necessary : Negotiate contracts with equipment and materials suppliers: Act as representative before government commissions or regulatory bodies during the review of policies or procedures : Recruit and monitor staff : Conduct performance appraisal/review for staff members under your supervision: Meet with all managers to review/discuss their staff members performance appraisals : Meet regularly with department heads to keep informed, offer direction, plan and coordinate : Responsible for informing new members of the Hotels rules and regulations : Responsible for the overall management of the operations of the Lodge: Any other duties assignedSkills/Requirements:Skills: : Hotel School Qualifications : Minimum 10 years experience in a 5* establishment : Rooms Division, Sales and Marketing and Finance experience : Knowledge in Micros, Opera, Fidelio and Microsoft Office is an advantage : Sound Food and Beverage knowledge : Basic HR knowledge: Valid passportAssistant General ManagerJob Description:Front of House:At least 2 years experience in a similar position:Advanced level of computer literacy:Hosting experience:Strong admi
