George’s Job Interview Dont’s – see what not to do during a Job Interview
No commentsAloha and welcome back to my JoBlog.
With three days down and two left to go, can you smell what the weekend is cooking?
Ok maybe not, but at least we are through the Halfway- Wednesday-Hump for this week in August.
Today hasn’t been the greatest day for this career Guru. Sadly my stars are crossed, my planets misaligned and well let’s just say, today really called for more meditation and less office time.
None the less, I have pulled myself towards myself, made it to work, instead of faking a belly ache (not that I ever do that) and I’m here to give you the very best of me that I have to offer you today.
So now that I have confessed to not being the most productive employee nor the greatest company today, I have managed to find some comic relief for days like today.
While comic relief is always…well…a relief, there is in fact a great message that you can find in the video I have embedded below.
Pretty funny I know, but believe it or not, some job interviews sincerely go as poorly as this once with good ‘ol Georgie Porgey.
While funny, I realise that this clip adds absolutely no value to your Job Interview preparations.
In stead, why not visit the advice articles on Jobs.co.za and more specifically take a read through my article on Preparing for a Job Interview. You will find a wealth of Job interview advice articles under the Job Interview zone that will prove far more helpful than George’s clip.
I have put together a full category of advice articles with the very best Job Interview preparations you can find. These include Job Interview questions you should prepare for, as well as those that should not be asked, questions to ask the interviewer themselves, your job interview body language, nerves and pretty much everything else about job interviews that I haven’t mentioned above.
Check it out and avoid making the same Interview mistakes as George has made here.
Thanks and enjoy the clip – there will be more to come.
Speaking of which, tomorrow I will be back oh yes…and accompanying me will be my A game.
I’m off to go and sort out those planets I was talking about and straighten up the stars…
Wish me luck ;”)
Peace out!
