Change is a Universal Constant
No commentsWe made it!
It’s Friday and I’m ready to go outside and play.
In keeping with all things light hearted as it is such a festive day, I wanted to share with you some insight I have come across through a personal encounter with change.
Change is a powerful little creature with horns and affects us on various different levels of our multi faceted lives.
You’d have to have been living under a rock to not have noticed that there are several things amiss in the universe at the moment.
The global economy is sucking gas, world politics are as scandalous as ever, international relations are fracturing as quickly as the icebergs and things just feel as though they are completely out of control.
Aside from the publicized changes that seem to be occurring all around the world, has anyone noticed some major disparities in their personal lives at the moment as well?
I’m not certain if it has something to do with the time of the year, the stars, the global instability or a combination but goodness gracious, change seems to be occurring to all of the constants that I used to be familiar with.
Disparities seem to be the trend of the time at the moment and are bringing about the most profound quantity of changes I think I have ever experienced in myself and others, including people I don’t even know firsthand.
It happens as quickly or as slowly as the situation calls for but there is no way of predicting the outcome that change will bring which adds to the fear and apprehension we all encounter when experiencing any form of change.
Positive or negative; change is a form of evolution and transformation.
As difficult as it may be, we are all required to develop coping mechanisms to manage immanent change and find ways of pushing through the eye of the storm as opposed to running with our tails neatly tucked, around the sides of it.
So as mentioned earlier, I too, even an actualised guru such as myself still experiences change in its most intense form.
But the recent spate of change I have encountered seems to have taught me something I didn’t know or recognise before.
Change as easy or as difficult as it may be, is the only thing constant we can guarantee in our lives.
And while change may affect us in a horribly negative way, we are all granted with the will to decide if we will allow change to defeat us or not.
Yes, very consciously we can choose to take change, welcome it and as ugly as it might be, stare it down get used to its presence and welcome whatever follows it.
We all have the advanced ability to either allow change to be as easy or as difficult as we want it to be.
I now that welcoming something you may not want to happen sounds like the wrong this to do, but in fairness, understand that change is a universal constant.
By accepting that things are always going to change I think that we open ourselves up to accepting whatever the change may be in the most honest and welcoming manner possible.
It is only in resisting the occurrence of change and rejecting that which we cannot control, that we experience anguish and confusion.
With that and to wrap up this week’s blogging from me, I implore you to welcome change into your life like you do the sun, each day that it rises.
There is no stopping it, nor avoiding it, so try to look at the positive view of the change balcony as opposed to finding a way to jump off it.
I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend and whatever changes it brings about, know that you are exactly where you need to be in the very given moment that it occurs.
Take care
