Deeper Meaning behind Candidate Rehearsed Responses

Welcome to another blog post by yours truly Jo Blog.

I hope that you have been having a good week so far and so sorry I didn’t make it in yesterday was blessed with a crazy day from above and as much as I tried I just couldn’t get to chatting with you all.

But…I’m back today and here to stay (Apologies, I’m still sucking gas so bear with me, I’m digging deep just for you today so pardon a few cheesy lines here and there)

Today I wanted to talk to Recruiters about job interview techniques and more specifically looking for the   deeper meaning behind the answers that Job Seekers produce in response to job interview questions.

Just as Job Seekers are advised to prepare ahead of an important job interview, Recruiters are required to do the same and if not in more depth and elaboration to that of Job Seekers.

Job interviews are intensely in-depth functions moderated by any recruiter. The better a recruiter has prepared and the more insight gained based on a Job Seekers response to specific job interview questions, the more targeted your skill is on homing in on the best possible candidate to satisfy your client’s needs will be. Recently a colleague of mine at Jobs.co.za, Camilla, uploaded another one of her Recruiter advice articles to the site explaining ways in which to read between the lines of Job Seeker interview responses.

She shares some interesting ways in which subtle messages are communicated during responses given by candidates during a job interview and how to use these when placing the most fitting candidate in your client’s role.

Read through the full article look under Recruitment Interviewing Techniques in the Recruiter Advise Section, entitled “Job Interview Questions for Better Job Seeker Assessment

I’m sure that you will find great value in this article and if anything, it will assist you in identifying the deeper meaning behind candidate rehearsed responses to common job interview questions and filter the gems form the pebbles.

I hope you enjoy the article.

Take care and Peace Out
