Captive Placements a professional personnel recruitment and placement company that provides unrivalled resourcing solutions to our Clients and Candidates through continued maintenance of high standards.
To selected candidates we offer a comprehensive and efficient service ensuring from a recruitment point of view, that they are presented to the market in a targeted and prompt manner.
Services
As a privately owned business, we offer both our clients and candidates flexible, tailored and specific 'recruitment service' packages. Combining full professional face-to-face consultancy techniques with up to date technologies, including internet online vacancy posting and viewing, we are leading the way forward with a cutting edge recruitment service.
To ensure the right applicant our consultants discuss and carry out the following:
- Define and agree the position and responsibilities
- Develop an understand your company's culture
- Screen, interview and assess skills of applicants
- Define and agree selection criteria with our client
- Submit suitable candidates with detailed resumes for client interviewing
- Undertake background checks and reference checks
- On-site visits
- Assist candidates with the generation of their CV's
- Provide feedback to all candidates
- Managing all applications through to formal offer
- Post-appointment follow-up and reviews
We provide a unique methodology that greatly enhances the success of the selection and placement process and, once the candidate is employed, fast-tracks the productivity and efficiency of that person.

Options
We offer three types of placement options, each with its own fee and guarantee structure:
- Option 1 - Permanent Placement
With option the successful candidate is employed by the Client Company on a permanent basis from the day of commencement.
The Candidate is normally subjected to a 3month probation period during which time we guarantee to substitute the Candidate with another person if the Client is not satisfied with the performance of the original Candidate.
- Option 2 - Temporary Placement
Candidates are employed by the Client Company on a temporary contract for an agreed period on a month-to-month basis.
We pay and manage the Candidates.
The Client Company can terminate the contract with immediate effect without Human Resource Legislative repercussion. At the request of the Client, we will replace the unsuccessful Candidate.
- Option 3 - Pre-permanent Placement
We offer our client the option to employ a potential Candidate on a temporary basis for a period of 3 months after which a permanent position is offered to the incumbent. This offers a win-win situation to both the Client and the Candidate in that an opportunity for assessment prior to a permanent appointment is created.
Resources
The operations team is spearheaded by the two owners and full-time consultants in the business.

- - 19 Years consulting and management experience (Organisational Behaviour, Change Management, Organisational structuring, Process Improvement, Performance Management, Project Management, Operational and Strategic alignment)
Charmaine Pyper
- - 14 years experience as liaison and recruitment officer in an corporate environment
- - 6 Years experience in the sourcing, recruitment and placement of personnel for a recruitment agencies
Database
Whilst an extensive database of suitable candidates across all sectors of industry is maintained and mined, additional resources are available through our established network of independent consultants.
Affiliations
Affiliation with a number of other companies ensure that we can provide ancillary and supporting services in the area of Psychometric and Personality Inventory testing.
