Libra Personnel is based in Rustenburg, but we place candidates nationally.  Even though we are a small company, our work is our pride.

Libra Personnel started operating in February 2005, and has grown considerably in a short amount of time. Most of our existing clients have been with us since then, which is due to our good and efficient service.

As Rustenburg has been expanding at a tremendous rate, we have been fortunate to be a part it. We advertise widely and intensively for candidates by means of Newspapers & the Internet, concentrating on areas where mines are situated i.e. the Northern Cape, Gauteng, North West, and the Free State. We have a considerable data base of scrutinised staff at your disposal.

First, a highly experienced recruitment sales person will meet you to learn about your existing vacancy, and about where that role fits in your business.

Next, a detailed brief is developed and we use our proprietary management system to identify the candidates in our data base who best fit your requirements.

Despite the depth of talent in our data base some roles benefit from a wider search. In these cases, with the client’s prior consent, we carry out job-specific advertising and leverage our network of specialist job boards.

Our highly experienced recruitment manager will meet each candidate and carry out comprehensive, competency-based interviews.

Before any candidate reaches a short list, we check references and validate their CV, meaning no hidden surprises for you.

Our clients business needs remain at the forefront of the recruitment process. When a client takes the time to give us a detailed brief of what they need, we don't pass that information down the line to junior members of staff. Our clients, wherever they are in the South – Africa, can be rest assured that the recruitment manager they meet will be the same person who selects and screens the candidates for the position.

All candidates are scrutinized when interviewed. We take no notice of printed or written references, as we realize it could be fraudulent, as are references given by cell phone, therefore we always cross reference with a land line number. Certificates are checked by Libra Personnel at the different instances i.e. Olifantsfontein (Department of Labour), MerSETA, Department of Minerals & Energy, Mining Qualifications Authority, etc. We make use of Millennium Data Consultants to verify various qualifications and records, when needed.
