Job Requirements: - M. Sc. Or Ph.D. Environmental Chemistry/Chemistry/ Geology/ Exploration Geology with a desire to develop a career in the direction Geochemistry. Minimum 5 years of experience in the consulting environment. - Specialist Geochemical modelling using PHREEQC, Geochemist (Speciation, Inverse/Reaction path modelling) and or Oxygen diffusion models ( O2 diff and Pyrox), - Baseline geochemical assessment of contamination sources, including tailings, waste rock, slag, processing waste, heap leach pads etc. - Specialist geochemistry inputs to EIAs; - Interpretation of static and kinetic geochemical testwork for ARD assessments; - Integrated risk based approach to developing ARD mitigation measures /ARD management plans; - Good project management, scheduling and budgeting skills; and - Proposal and report writing Additional Information: The Senior Geochemist/Geochemical Modeller provides specialist geochemistry inputs to clients seeking environmental compliance.
