The position is responsible for financial leadership in variance analysis, benchmarking, planning and forecasting of the WECA (4 SUB Regions, 49 countries) as well as reporting requirements. Ensure formal and ad-hoc queries are dealt with in an accurate and timely fashion, with a focus on being proactive, rather than reactive. Give insight and challenge business thinking. Show Finance thought leadership and help develop business opportunities in each Segment. Analyze trends & carry out investigations to assist management decision making and improve understanding of issues such as competitive information, return on investments and resource alignment. Drive profitability & productivity, using Benchmarking activities, deep dive into business drivers and KPIs, provide guidance, challenge plans, offer solutions Operational Excellence: Deliver timely and accurate information to both leadership teams. Provide meaningful analysis to linkage operational metrics and Revenue performance. Ensure MS Sales and EBMS Data Quality targets are achieved, or data anomalies flagged for resolution. Adhere to corporate guidance such as SMS&P/EPG segmentation/parenting principles, and work with Business Management to support successful implementation.
