An eCommerce marketing company in a fast paced online marketing industry is looking for a dedicated, self motivated and dynamic individual to join the SEO development team.   Must be have a sound knowledge of all programming principles and be able to learn new technologies fast.  Must be able to keep to timely deadlines and targets. Reporting to the SEO Specialist Developer (SEM) your role as Developer includes the following (but is not limited to):

• Create/Maintain existing Desktop Applications
• Develop/maintain of websites in various technologies for both
• Using TFS in Visual Studio
• Stand -alone site
• Creation/maintenance on CMS Template Design
• Support in reviewing site for general SEO compliance
• Plan and Document Systems
• Database Management
• Integration of system with Internal/External APIs
• Must keep on top of new technologies and should be willing to learn new languages/skills

JOB COMPETENCIES:

• Relevant qualification ( IT diploma/ Bsc Computer Science) or equivalent experience
• Proven development experience essential

• C# Web/Desktop based
  • Experience in developing custom control will be advantageous
• PHP / MySQL Websites
• HTML, JavaScript, Ajax and CSS required
• Experience in open source frameworks will be advantageous
• Experience in implementation and use external APIs will be advantageous
• Implementation and use Webservices

• Good relational database understanding

• MS SQL and MySQL

• Proven experience in internet technology and web development
• Design Skills on Photoshop or similar will be advantageous
• Proven solution design skills and experience
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies as they become available
• Proven hands- on experience with design philosophies
• Documentation

• UML/Database/Process Flow Modelling will be advantageous
• Documenting Systems
