TEMP TO PERM POSITION<br />Purpose of Job: Provide an advisory role to staff and Management on day to day HR activities<br />Facilitate all BEE requests and verification process.<br />Attend to all leave administrative issues<br />Process monthly provident and pension fund returns from MIBFA for payment<br />Ensuring that all compensation returns are submitted timeously yearly<br />Ensure Compliance with legislation<br />Monitor Absenteeism and time & attendance <br />Process all garnishes, medical aid and union returns monthly.<br />Maintenance of all training and development records<br />Facilitate induction and orientation of new employees<br />Ensure that employee records are up to date re: entrance and exit checklist including pension <br />Ensure that accurate job descriptions are in place.<br />Prepare notices and advertisements for vacant staff positions.<br />Schedule and organize interviews<br />Attend to all HR queries

Inherent Requirements:
Matric & 3 years HR Diploma /Degree <br />2-3 yrs experience as Human Resource Officer in a manufacturing environment<br />Experience in MERSETA/MIFA/SIFA (these are all related to the metal steel industries)<br />Good BCEA knowledge and experience<br />Excellent communication skills<br />Be able to work independently without supervision and in a group<br />Effective organizational skills<br />Time management skills<br />Effective written communications skills including the ability to prepare reports, proposals policies and procedures
