Our client is looking for a Contracts Manager with the following requirements: BSc Mech Eng and preferably a professional registration as an engineer. Twelve years structural steel fabrication and erection experience in a contractor capacity of which at least 2-3 years as a Contracts Manager managing big or multiple projects. Excellent people management skills with the emphasis on fabrication/erection planning, sound financial principles, budgeting and cost control (costs vs allowables). Good liaison skills to liaise with employees, unions, management, suppliers, sub contractors and the client. Should be willing to work away from home if required. Traveling to visit projects.
