Purpose: To attract new business customers to the bank<br />Identify new prospects in the business customer market <br />Visit and market the Bank’s products to identified clients.<br />Interview clients and obtain all necessary information to asses a credit application.<br />Prepare credit applications to HO credit department for approval<br />Credit meeting with account analyst to monitor progress on applications.<br />Assist branches with credit applications where necessary.<br />Sign all facility letters, security documentations and agreements with clients.<br />Ensure deals are booked successfully.<br />General Liaison with customers.<br />Liaise with Head Office.<br />Correspondence to customers and Head Office.<br />Ensure that all service fees and charge recoveries are made by account analyst.<br />Ensure high quality of service to clients.<br />Promote the Bank’s products.<br />Identify prospective new customers.<br />Review day’s sales performance against target.<br />Negotiate Investment Rates on behalf of clients.<br />Following-up on progress of all approved deals in the pipeline report.<br />Checking of security documentation.<br />Migration of accounts to relationship manager. <br />Pricing applications to Head Office.<br />Resolve clients queries/complaints.<br />Attend meetings/functions in the interest of promoting the Bank.<br />Entertain clients.<br />Keeping call report after each customer’s visit.<br />Weekly summary performance sheet to Head Office.<br />
Inherent Requirements:
Tertiary qualification (3 years business related degree/diploma CAIB or similar certificate in Credit) would be advantageous.<br />Marketing would be an additional advantage<br />FAIS compliant<br />8 years banking experience in general.<br />5 years in business banking experience and new customer acquiring in SME Market with focus on medium market segment.<br />Financial skills.<br />Credit and risk skills.<br />Operational skills.<br />Computer literacy.<br />Communication skills.<br />Decision making ability.<br />Professional standards.<br />Analytical.<br />High energy levels.<br />Stress tolerance.<br />Team player<br />
