Reporting to: National Remuneration Manager<br />Job purpose: Assisting with Wage Administration<br />Wage administration<br />Accurate data capturing i.e. timesheets, leave<br />Filing<br />Queries<br />Liaise with NBC - regarding sick/leave payout<br />Update information on employee transfers<br />Confirmation of employment<br />Captures payroll data, such as housr worked, insurance, union dues to be withheld and employee identification number from time sheets and other records<br />Prepare periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions for payment from Head Office<br />Keeps records of leave pay<br />Prepares and issues EFT<br />Filing to date<br />Employment confirmations<br />Receiving of leave applications<br />Distributing payslips<br />Telephonic payroll queries e.g. hours not being paid or banking rejections

Inherent Requirements:
Matric<br />Payroll experience<br /><br />Competencies: Analytical thinking, initiative, customer & achievement orientation.<br /><br />Skills: Team work and administration skills, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, communication and computer skills.
