Reporting directly to the Financial Manager, the financial accountant will assist the financial manager with all financial functions<br />Creditor reconciliations and payments<br />Preparation of monthly audit file<br />Reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts<br />Assisting Forecast and Budget Preparation <br />Compiling and Reporting on monthly management accounts<br />Forex Administration<br />Assist with the implementation and review of internal controls<br />Interaction with central finance office on financial matters<br />Capital expenditure and depreciation calculation and reporting<br />Executing of other financial related functions.

Inherent Requirements:
The suitable candidate should preferably have a financial accounting degree (BCom, BCompt or similar) or at least studying towards one. Articles, although not necessary, will be beneficial. <br />At least 2 years experience as an assistant financial accountant and 3 years experience as a generalist in the financial environment.<br />Best suited to the position would be an individual with strong problem solving and numerical skills. Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a recognized accounting package are compulsory. The position requires a person who can work under pressure in a high speed manufacturing environment
