Our Client is a sought after employer of choice that is focused on designing smart and thought leadership solutions for their clients. They achieve this by utilizing a suite of supply chain planning software. Our Client is looking for
an Operations Manager to lead and manage a team of software and methodology implementers. The business unit manages projects across a suite of supply chain software and associated disciplines covering: • Demand Planning • Inventory Optimisation • Tactical Planning (Sales and Operations Planning), and • Strategic supply chain modelling The role requires: • As a senior member of the team, your involvement with the client, often occurs when the project is not running well. You are required to manage these difficult discussions and ensure action plans to get things back on track • The best way to ensure that your involvement at a client is not left too late is to ensure a well operating mechanism that tracks the project success and flags when things are not going according to plan • The ability to establish and run a strong project management methodology • The continual juggling of resources, resource planning, and resource allocation • Post-project client support – ensure a well operating support desk under your management • Ensure lead generation and ongoing revenues from your install base
Skills Required:
Requirements and Pre-requisites:
• A relevant degree is a pre-requisite
• Some exposure to supply chain management is highly preferable
• Exposure to project implementation of software related products is a pre-requisite
