Role Purpose: Incumbent will be responsible to inspect, approve and control all components manufactured, repaired and supplied to ensure they meet the company and customer quality requirements and the company standards and specification

Inherent Requirements:
Qualified Trade Turner <br />1 Years QC inspector experience on rotating equipment being the key competency<br />5 Years working as a tradesman<br />Compilation and issue of NCR’s<br />Approve or reject equipment not within tolerances in accordance with manufacturing drawings<br />Conduct inspection checks on product<br />Ensure quality standards and engineering standards are conformed to in accordance with engineering drawings<br />Ensure product is compliant with the company and customer specific quality and engineering standards<br />Read, analyze, understand and follow engineering drawings<br />Use specific engineering measuring equipment such micrometers and verniers<br />Use engineering tools to meet job specific <br />Understanding of quality level requirements<br />Work within the framework of a team<br />Pay attention to detail and have a high level of technical proficiency (calculations and measurements)<br />Must be quality and customer service orientated<br />Problem solve and have a high level of initiative<br />
