Description:
Our client is urgently looking for a Test Analyst to join their team Duties: 1. Ensure efficient and effective test planning and estimation of time required. 2. Ensure that all software received from the developers is quality assured

through a process of vigorous application unit/integration/regression testing. 3. Writing test case/scripts and documenting these in a Test Plan/User Acceptance document. 4. Executing test scripts. 5. Communication with the rest of the development team. 6. Reporting and analysis of application defects. 7. Attending team meetings. 8. Meeting users to gain a better understanding of quality assurance issues.

Skills Required:
1. Must have at least 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role. 2. Ability to interact professionally with clients and business/operations. 3. Adaptability to rapidly changing environment/technology. 4. Variable daily hours and overtime hours where necessary will be a requirement due to the critical nature of the position.. 5. Code 08 Drivers License (valid and unendorsed) and own reliable transport. 6. Candidates must have Microsoft SQL skills and experience in creating and running SQL scripts. 7. An understanding of the systems development lifecycle. 8. General system/IT infrastructure knowledge. (Added Advantages) 1. An advantage if the candidate has skills and experience with automated test tools. 2. Major advantage if the candidate has skills and experience in programming with MS Visual Studio - C#. 3. Testing courses or certifications an advantage.

Additional:
Education: Tertiary educated ideally within Information Systems, Computer Science or Testing specific qualifications
