Lubrication company based in Alberton is looking for a Stores Clerk to join their team. Must have at least 2 years exp. Syspro exp adv.

THE PRIMARY FUNCTION OF THIS POSITION IS TO ENSURE THAT THE CORRECT STOCK IS EITHER ISSUED OR RETURNED ON THE JOBS THUS ENSURING THAT THE RIGHT PARTS ARE GIVEN TO THE TECHNICIANS AND CONTRIBUTING TO THE GOAL OF ENSURING THAT THE SYSTEM AND ACTUAL STOCK CORRESPOND.

DAILY TASKS:

• 1. All jobs opened by sales are sent to the Stores Clerk
• 2. The Stores clerk will give jobs to pickers to pick stock
• 3. Once the stock is picked the Stores Clerk will check actual stock picked compared to what the job calls for and will issue the stock accordingly on Syspro
• 4. If there are any discrepancies i.e. job shows we have stock but physically we don't or vice versa , the Stores Clerk will investigate and make changes on the job where necessary
• 5. Any discrepancies in stock must be communicated either to Warehouse Manager or Stores Administrator to decide if more stock should be ordered
• 6. Any stock returned by technicians after job is completed must be checked by the Stores Clerk and receipted on the job back into stock
• 7. The Stores Clerk is responsible to ensure the stock returned is placed in the correct bin
• 8. Any general stock discrepancies is investigated by the Stores Clerk and communicated to Stores Administrator who will decide if a stock adjustment is warranted

WEEKLY TASKS:

• 1. Cycles counts on at least 40 bins per week
• 2. Supply cycle count sheets to Stores Administrator by Monday morning of the following week for processing
• 3. Check if stock is in the correct bins and make changes where necessary
• 4. Advise Stores Administrator of any bin changes , so as to amend on Syspro
• 5. Assist Stores Administrator in identifying fast-moving items that need to be replenished
