Payroll Customer Service Manager (EE)

Requirement Overview:

My client requires the services of a payroll customer service manager who is passionate about payroll and HR Admin and is highly organized. This will suit someone who can work independently, without much supervision. This is a 6 months fixed term contract.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure all electronic input is received from unit and is completed correctly.

Liaise with payroll as to queries on payroll from employees.

Liaise with payroll as to system problems

Liaise with employees/ management as to solutions to the problems

Cataloging all payroll input.

Liaise/ train management on input sheets

Produce report as to electronic input not received.

Liaise with line managers concerning incomplete documentation, late documentation & unsigned documentation.

Liaise with HR administration regarding problems on payroll.

Deal with queries from employees

Ensure reports from system are correct

Produce management reports as requested.

Deal with employees not paid, cheques returned , incorrect banking details

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements:

Matric

Preferably a Human Resources Qualification or studying towards one.

5 years payroll experience

Payroll legislation---tax , UIF etc

Computer skills---excel, word etc

Payroll systems/ parameter experience/report writing (VIP, Pastel, Educos)

Define specifications need for reports etc.

Good customer service skills

Good investigation skills

Organizational skills

Attention to detail.
