Requirements:

• Must be presentable and image conscious
• Fashion / Retail Degree or similar
• Minimum of 7 years managerial experience in fashion retail
• Strong Leadership with an assertive personality
• Good Interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to use own initiative
• Highly flexible
• Highly motivated and focussed

Other Knowledge: PC skill (MS-word, excel, PPT)

Store Operations

• Ensure operation of air conditioning, security, fire alarms etc
• Opening and closing of the store
• Physical inventory and stock control.

Budget control:

• Achieve, monitor and address sales budgets and targets
• Reach sales objectives
• Responsible for profit accounts
• Responsible for cost control (electricity and telephone costs, bags, toilet paper, wastage, inventories etc)

Staff management:

• Organising store personnel
• Assignment of duties
• Personal objectives for team members monitoring their sales daily
• Recruitment and Training
• Arranging of timetables
• Authorising of free time and holidays
• Solving conflicts and reporting incidents to the head office.
• Motivate and assist staff to reach targets
• Ensure that the store and individuals achieve and exceed daily and monthly budgets

Customer

• Excellent customer service and respond to customer needs ensuring customer satisfaction at all times

Visual Merchandise / Merchandise

• Maintain high level of visual merchandise standards
• Manage and maintain House- Keeping standards

Merchandise

• Regularly inform head office of product direction
• Organize sales and stock controls on an ongoing basis
• Rendering and distributing garments received in the stockroom according to organisational criteria.
