Job Details
A Consultant: Sales - Protective Coatings has arisen at Luipaardsvlei in Krugersdorp. The purpose of this position is to contribute to the achievement of the Protective Coatings departments objectives of increasing the Company’s market share. Reporting to the Market Manager, the incumbent’s key responsibilities in the job will be as follow
Educational Qualifications
Matric or equivalent qualification; Preferably a related technical qualifications e.g. NACE 1; Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office applications;
Skill, Knowledge and Experience Requirements
5 Years experience in industrial or protective coatings sector; Strong negotiating skills and basic financial business acumen Have an understanding and strong technical knowledge of the practices and terminology of the industrial and protective coatings industries Have the ability to read schematics and do quantity estimations. Has the necessary competency to take on the above-mentioned responsibilities. Good communication skills, verbal and written.

An assertive self-starter with integrity Self-driven and result orientated Passionate about sales and achieving stretch objectives/targets Be proactive in resolving problems Function well in the Team Have the ability to deal with customers at all levels
Be prepared to relocate to Jhb

Key Responsibilities
Grow business through a new customer base; Sells full range of company products to customers; Calling on customers regularly; Draw up action plan after checking performance against projected budget per customer; To service all the existing client and mines in the Gauteng, Mpumalanga, North West and Limpopo provinces with a specific focus on corrosion protection. To expand into new business ventures within the industry To service and call on specifying authorities and asset owners operating within the industry To service all contractors/ applicators specialising in the industry To gain access to the new projects within the region Negotiates prices and special deals with customers, bound by Company policy; Provide technical service to customers; Reports all customer administrative complaints to the relevant departments; Ensure clients have the required price lists computerised;
