A leading designer and manufacturer of Mineral Processing Equipment to the mining industry, requires an experienced Regional Sales Manager who is familiar with Grinding Mills and Crushers as well as Mineral Processing Plants to support it’s  goals in growing its presence in South Africa and the rest of Africa.

The successful candidate will have a solid track record as well as sound business relationships within the South African Mining Sector as well as in other countries i.e., Zambia, Tanzania, Ghana & DRC  and will be responsible for the sales and growth of product lines within the Mineral Processing Division in the Southern & African region and will assist our Johannesburg based team in the development of plans for the region in line with corporate objectives and values.

Minimum Experience, Skills and Academic Requirements:

• Able to understand Engineering Drawings
• Trade, Mining or Extractive Metallurgical background
• Familiar with mineral processing plants
• Understanding of Grinding Mills and Crushers
• Experience in South Africa & SADEC mining operations
• Experience in mining operations in other African countries essential.
• Existing client base and experience within most of the required countries a must
• Min 5 years Experience in a technical sales management position
• Exposure to export/import requirements
• Travel Essential
• Commercially astute
• Willing to travel extensively in Southern Africa
• Johannesburg based
• English and Afrikaans speaking (preferably home language)
