Coordinate, monitor, evaluate and implement the Employee Health and Wellness Programmes in the Region
Assistant Director: Employee Assistance Programmes
Regional Office: Limpopo (Polokwane)
Salary: R221 058 - R260 388 per annum. The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement (Ref. 04/12/LMP)
Requirements: • A relevant 3-year degree/National Diploma • At least 3 years' Employee Health and Wellness Programme experience • Registration with the relevant professional statutory council • Knowledge of HIV and AIDS matters, as well as counselling services • A valid driver’s licence.
Skills and competencies: • Creative and analytical thinking • Planning, organising and presentation • Problem solving • The ability to maintain confidentiality • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Communication (verbal and written) • Assertiveness • Accuracy and attention to detail.
Duties: • Coordinate, monitor, evaluate and implement the Employee Health and Wellness Programmes in the Region • Manage the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety and Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA) • Manage the implementation of HIV and AIDS programmes • Provide support and strategic guidance to the Region with regard to mainstreaming of HIV and AIDS programmes, and implementation of other EH&W-related programmes
• Coordinate and support the peer educators in the region • Conduct research on EH&W-related matters and compile trends analysis and research finding reports • Perform miscellaneous duties, as requested by the Superior.
