Michaelhouse, the Anglican Diocesan College of Natal, was founded in 1896 and is an Independent, South African, all boarding school for senior boys from Grade 8 to Grade 12. Situated in the picturesque Midlands of KwaZulu-Natal, the School is internationally recognised for its religious values and academic, sporting and cultural excellence. The School retains a distinctive ethos which respects the individual needs and development of its boys and embraces diversity and change in pursuit of a balanced, all round education, while developing social and leadership skills and nurturing spiritual growth.

The successful candidate must have an established record and application of:
• Leadership in matters of education, pastoral care, finance and marketing
• Interpersonal, communication and managerial skills
• Strategic and visionary acumen and drive
• International levels of best practice in education and Corporate governance principles
• Positive interaction with multiple Stakeholders

The incumbent would hold the necessary tertiary qualifications and have served, at minimum, 10 years in a senior position at a highly regarded institution. A sincere alignment to the Anglican affiliation of the  School would be an advantage. The position involves local and international travel.
