NATIONAL HEAD OF TECHNICAL TRAINING: AUDIT

 

BDO has a vacancy for a National Head of Technical Training. Reporting to the Head of Audit, you will, inter alia, be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that the core audit courses are presented annually
  • Presenting training in respect of the BDO international methodology tool
  • Preparing and/or updating content of all technical training courses for the audit division nationally in accordance with BDO international methodology, audit manual and SAICA/IRBA requirements
  • Developing, maintaining and retaining appropriate feedback material from delivery of all trainingpresented (internal and external)
  • Preparing the annual training budget in conjunction with the Head of Audit and other stakeholders (national firm) and ensuring that the financial budget is met
  • Identifying the type of appropriate soft skills training

Qualifications and experience:

  • CA(SA), preferably with previous training experience
  • Excellent knowledge of International Auditing Standards
  • Knowledge of IFRS in the context of auditing procedures (ie specialised IFRS knowledge not required)

Salary is market-related and commensurate with experience.
