Job Details

The Brand Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Brand in South Africa, in accordance with International principles and procedures. This includes planning, buying, sales and profit contribution of the brand.



  • The purchasing of  stock in from International  Brand.
  • Management of MSSI report - Monthly Sales/Stock/Input Matrix on a  category level to ensure that set KPIs, as set by management, are achieved per season.
  • Monthly Trends meeting with Merchandise Director – worst/best sellers, stock building/shortage per category and corrective action, daily store sales, KPI’s per store and cumulative for the brand.
  • “Pre-buy” analysis and recommended OTB per season.
  • Presentation of post seasonal analysis - category contribution to turnover, stock turns and sell throughs.
  • Implementation of pricing strategy in line with agreed IMU.
  • Markdown management, including management of cost of markdown and mid-season sales.

 

Marketing:

  • Management of Marketing Activity plan on a seasonal and annual basis.
  • Ensuring the correct positioning of the brand
  • Maintaining of the international Standards set.

Store relations:

  • Regular store visits and subsequent store reports.
  • Assist store with seasonal change and sale execution.
  • Work closely with the visual manager and store manager to ensure that International merchandising standards are met.

Warehouse:

  • Ensure that dispatch instructions are executed timeously.
  • Update warehouse on all shipments to be received.
  • Ensure consistent communication with the warehouse is maintained with regards to shipments and distributions.

Operations:

  • Weekly meetings with operations & visual regarding store activities, HR issues, etc.

Administration:

  • Overseeing the timeous capturing of all products and purchase orders.
  • Ensure accuracy of all data being captured.

Franchisor relations:

Development and maintenance of key relationships with International Partners
