Position Reports to: General Manager What type of experience do we require? Micros System experience preferable. Experience in running functions of up to 250 pax at a five star level. Minimum of 3 years experience in a management position in a similar property Which qualifications will secure this position? Must have grade 12 and be computer literate. Formal hospitality degree/diploma preferable What are the key responsibilities of the position? Train and motivate and manage all banqueting staff. Assist with queries and guests complaints – management on duty. Manage the entire service operation of all functions. Create and maintain relationship with guests. Daily meetings and handovers with staff. Staff rostering. Maintain and achieve targets. Do monthly stock takes. Daily room checks before check ins. Assist guests to their room during check ins. Running and overseeing of the hotel breakfasts. What skills / behaviours are required? Polite, friendly person with a strong personality that can think on their feet. Well spoken and well presented individual.
