Right to Care and its Training Department have a Skills Trainer vacancy in Free State Province and encourage suitably qualified candidates to apply.

Key Performance Areas/ Description of Duties:

Training and mentoring comprises 90% of the job

Research to keep abreast with present developments in the field of HIV/AIDS, STI’s, TB, PMTCT and counselling through: CME’S, Internet, Journal’s, Conferences/Workshops, In-service  Training  

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements

A degree in Social Work

Registration with the SACSSP

A valid driver’s license and Own transport

Basic HIV/AIDS Course or equivalent

5 years of social work experience of which 2 years should be in the field of HIV with some training exposure – inservice

Competencies Required:

Technical Skills: Computer Literacy, facilitation

Desired requirements

Assessor Certificate

Moderators Certificate

Train the Trainer

Education Diploma

1 years training experience

Curriculum design and development experience

Other:  The suitable candidate will be required to travel to other provinces to train staff or be skilled up as a trainer for a range of 3 – 10 days per month.
