Occ Health and Employee Wellness Consultant (PDI)
Job Purpose:
To deliver a professional and best practise Occupational Health and Employee Wellness service to the organisation and ensuring compliance to relevant legislative requirements. This will include enhancing employee physiological, psychological and social wellbeing with the aim of promoting a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
Minimum criteria required
Qualifications:
Degree in Occupational Health Nursing (NQF6)
Registered with SANC
Registered with SASOHN or DENOSA
Experience:
4-6 years in the nursing profession.
4-6 years in the Occupational Health field.
Advanced knowledge on OHSA, COIDA.
Experience in Occupational Health processes and programs.
Managing Employee Incapacity/ Disability.
Ideal:
Qualifications:
Qualification in Pharmacology.
Dispensing course/license.
HIV Counselling and HIV Disease Management.
Employee Wellness Certificate.
Experience:
Audiometry
Spirometry
Experience in Bio-hazardous environment.
Counselling.
SAP experience.
Job Specific Requirements:
Valid code 08 driver’s license.
Extensive Area/ National travel and overnight stays will be required.
24 hours telephonic call.
Overtime as and when required.
Key Performance Areas:
Business planning and financial management for business unit
Manage a comprehensive and effective Occupational Health and Employee Wellness process.
Accomplish national operational Occupational Health and Wellness objectives in terms of Training provided to the organisation.
Project Management (perform and report on projects).
Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships for occupational health and wellness in SANBS.
