Established Automotive Component Manufacturer requiring a Mech Eng with 3 yrs relevant exp to provide Technical Support - specifically in the area of ROBOTIC WELDING. Apply now!

• Provide engineering support to the company - specifically supporting robotic weld cells and HUD gluing cell
• Commissioning new plant and equipment
• Define maintenance schedules for this equipment
• Fault finding and problem solving using formalised techniques
• Setting welding and gluing fixtures
• Consult with technical specialist to resolve issues when necessary
• Report on the reliability and performance of equipment
• Equipment process documentation
• REQUIREMENTS:
• BSc Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
• 3 Years relevant experience
• Excellent organizational skills
• Registration as Candidate Engineer with ECSA an advantage
• Competent with MS Word, Excel and Outlook to intermediate level
• Must be able to analyze a dimensional report of a Cross Car Beam and make the necessary adjustments to the equipment to improve the quality of the component
• Understand PLC's
• Must have an understanding of robot programming
• Must have a good understanding of MIG welding
• Must have strong report writing skills
• Must be comfortable to navigate in a CAD environment
• Must have experience with pneumatic systems
