An international manufacturing group is seeking an Inventory Manager with sound knowledge of Inventory best practices and excellent staff management skills.

Essential :
• Grade 12
• Diploma, preferably in logistics and/or commercial. Alternatively, a relevant combination of formal (supply chain-related) qualifications and additional specialised studies.

Desirable :
• Technical qualification or qualified artisan;
• Membership of relevant professional body e.g. SAPICS, CIPS

• In depth knowledge of and experience in inventory management best practice principles;
• Professional experience (5-7 yrs) in inventory management and supply chain;
• People management;
• Relevant ERP system experience, preferably SAP Materials Management
• Good understanding of technical categories and able to interpret technical drawings.
