Job Details

An international manufacturing group is seeking a MRP Lead to oversee and execute MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) related activities.

Essential :
• Grade 12
• Diploma, preferably in logistics and/or materials management. Alternatively, a relevant combination of formal (Supply Chain related) qualifications and additional specialised studies.
Desirable :
• Technical qualification or qualified artisan;
• Membership of relevant professional body e.g. SAPICS, CIPS

Oversee and execute MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) related activities to ensure the optimal fit between customer requirements and warehouse stock on hand.
Material Requirement Planning
Knowledge of and experience in inventory management best practice principles;
Professional experience (3-5yrs) in materials requirements planning and inventory management;
Experience in supervising teams;
Relevant ERP system experience, preferably SAP Materials Management
Good understanding of technical categories and able to interpret technical drawings
