Our Client based in Melrose Arch provides an exceptionally high standard of e-commerce and online marketing services. They are seeking to employ a Business Systems Analyst to join there highly skilled IT Team: The successful incumbent

will be responsible for: •Develop an in-depth understanding of the business processes currently in use and how to enhance them •Working closely with business units in order to elicit, analyse and validate requirements for business processes and information systems •To lead and coordinate requirements elicitation and use-case modelling by outlining the system's functionality and delimiting the system. •Responsible for communicating the extracted requirements to the customer and the development team. •Engage in discussion around the implementation of these requirements with the development team and will need to discuss each requirement at a detailed level with the Architect, Designer and Test Analyst. •Responsible for determining the priority of requirements to be delivered according to business needs and technical complexity in conjunction with the Architect. •Be involved in controlling and defining scope along with the Software Development Manager •Upon delivery of a requirement or set of requirements as functionality the Analyst is responsible for assisting the customer with end to end business process testing. •The Analyst needs to be able to define the initial scoping documentation and models for estimations. •Assist with proposals for new work, including costing of the scope in accordance with the approved estimation techniques.

Skills Required:
•Detailed knowledge of and ability to use the Unified Modelling Language including oUse Case Diagrams oActivity Diagrams oClass Diagrams oSequence diagrams oCollaboration Diagrams •Knowledge of best practices and techniques in requirements elicitation and specification. •Understanding of oSDLC’s and how the RUP framework assists with that. oElectronic business and the Internet. oObject Orientated Analysis & Design •Estimation Techniques including oFunction Point Counting oUse Case Point Counting •Tool Usage oMS Visio oEnterprise Architect oRational Rose oRational XDE •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •Strong analytical skills •Strong problem solving skills •Presentation Skills •Must work well under pressure and in a fast and dynamic environment •Ability to interact at any client level •Skilled in facilitating workshops and meetings •A minimum of 3 years development experience including design.
