Clinic Assistant (Enrolled Nurse) – Fixed Term

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will perform entry and exit medicals to specification, handle workrelated
injuries (IOD) according to procedural requirements and provide primary healthcare to staff. Duties will include audiometric testing and the effective administration of records. To promote health, the incumbent will provide awareness and health education.

Requirements: The ideal candidate should possess a Grade 12 and relevant Nursing qualifications (Enrolled Nursing), and should be registered with the Nursing Council. At least 2 years’ working experience in an occupational health management environment is essential, as is experience in Wellness (VCT) counselling and testing. Computer literacy, a valid Code 08 driver’s licence and medical fitness are requirements. The ideal candidate will be able to function independently and work under pressure, and will have excellent interpersonal and administrative skills
