The appointee will ensure the smooth running of the conveyor belts and comply with company’s SD system.

Xstrata Alloys Western Mines is one of the world’s largest producers of chrome. Western Mines is located in the North West Province, on the outskirts of Rustenburg. We have the following opportunities at Horizon Mines for career-minded individuals:

Engineering Department
Attendant (Belt)

Responsibilities: The appointee will ensure the smooth running of the conveyor belts and comply with company’s SD system.

Requirements: Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 10 and good verbal and writing skills. Previous experience on a mechanised or nonmechanised mining operation would be advantageous.

Note: Preference will be given to people from local communities
