Xstrata Alloys Western Mines is one of the world’s largest producers of chrome. Western Mines is located in the North West Province, on the outskirts of Rustenburg. We have the following opportunities at Horizon Mines for career-minded individuals:

Responsibilities: The charging up of explosives underground and compliance with the company’s SD requirement will form part of the appointee’s duties.
Requirements: To be successful, applicants need a Grade 10 Certificate and good verbal and written skills. Previous experience on a mechanised or conventional mining operation would be an added advantage.
Note: Preference will be given to people from local communities.
