Exciting opportunity exists for a Production Manager for a Digital Printing Company based in Johannesburg

Requirements:

• Management Experience
• Skilled on HP, Epson ,Zune and keep update on technology.

Role:

• Production management of all printing processes, including trouble shooting, crisis and loss control
• Management and planning of pre-press, press room, bindery and dispatch departments
• Ensuring the production of successful jobs, by producing job cards and planning the work through each stage of the production
• Estimating and providing quotes for clients
• Preparing proofs for approved print work
• Print design, including layouts, die drawing and proof reading of typeset documents
• Procurement of printing materials
• Negotiation, liaison and cost control with all trade suppliers
• Management and control of all work outsourced to trade suppliers
• Ensure that work is delivered timeously, including liaison with courier companies for delivery
• Ensure the invoicing of all completed work
• Management of production office including leave, work standards, performance and all other staff management functions
• Training and knowledge sharing, formally and informally with junior staff members
• Liaison and providing advice to clients regarding printing, technical aspects and production timelines
