My client invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of HSE Officer for the Kusile Project reporting to the Lead HSE Coordinator. The project entails the building of 6 x 780 MW Coal Fired Super Critical Boilers.

Management of all Health, Safety and Environmental matters in his/her area of responsibility.
Monitoring / reporting on HSE matters of tasks / areas
Performing site inspections and keeping record of it.
Compliance with best practices and report on deviations.
Following up on corrective measures for implementation and effectiveness.
Corrective coaching to the line management and employees.
Ensuring targets are met, which are agreed upon.
Attending meeting when required.
Reporting to the HSE Coordinator on a daily basis & liaising with supervisors on a daily basis.

A minimum of 5 years experience as a HSE Officer and 2 years as a Project Health , Safety & Environmental Officer.
