Our Group of Hotels, Resorts, Lodges and Retreats Head Office is based in Arcadia, Pretoria. We are actively seeking the services of an experienced Corporate Sales Representative to market our product in the Gauteng area. We are looking for a persuasive socially focused confident individual who can operate decisively and enthusiastically in a high pressured environment, to support the Sales Manager for the group in all sales activities with a specific focus on selling to the local corporate market and develop relationships within these key account areas. Minimum Experience or Qualification: · Diploma in Hotel Management or Sales and Marketing · Must have at least 3-5 years hospitality sales experience selling to the corporate market with proven established corporate relationships. Event Management and Conference organising will be an advantage. · Must have relationships in the Johannesburg corporate market. · Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel adn Powerpoint. · Highly presentable · Excellent command of the English language · Solid English verbal and written communication skills · Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays · Able to travel nationally as per requirements of the business · Drivers license and own vehicle Be able to work from home with access to the office when required. Good Credit record required. Own laptop, 3G and Cell Phone. Position is on contract basis only with set salary + incentive connected to a quarterly target. Key Performance Objectives: · To create and implement a strategy/plan to: establish, develop and maintain relationships with your key corporate accounts on a professional but personal level; continually expand account contacts and increase market penetration; and leverage those relationships to convert opportunities into confirmed business for the Hotels as per company performance requirements. · To explore all potential sales leads by working closely with the properties; maximising opportunities to cross-sell other group properties; maintaining Membership Relationships and staying abreast of Industry Trends. · To ensure that account and sales information is accurately communicated by ensuring that profiles are continually updated with all relevant and current information (including by not limited to: comprehensive contact details; rates and rate negotiation correspondence; actions with trace dates; updated list of feeder cities and press releases; birthday, anniversary and personal preferences of key influencers); completing detailed call reports for each appointment and producing a weekly and monthly sales report as per company SOP. · To achieve pre-established budgetary targets, account management objective and call quotas with the purpose of meeting the quarterly sales budget while keeping sales expenses with in budgeted guidelines. · To assist in planning and hosting all necessary FAM/Sales visits to the properties
