The position of Sales Executive (Health Care) is located at 3M South Africa, which is situated at Woodmead, a subsidiary responsible for the marketing and sales of a diversified range of products into Sub-Saharan Africa for the global corporation. To continue its growth in the region, the subsidiary has adopted a market focused strategy and is recruiting for this position to give effect to its business objectives. Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons who enjoy working in a challenging, energetic environment and meet the requirements as indicated. The Sales Executive (Health Care) will be responsible for but not limited to the following specific duties: •To develop and maintain all prescribed key accounts •Effectively implement strategic account plans for the region / hospital •To maintain customer relationships management •To maintain and develop KOL support and favourability towards 3M •To lead the growth & profitability of the Private and Public Sector Health care business portfolio (sterilisation) •To develop a network of high profile key relationships within this sector,positioning 3M South Africa and 3M Health Care as legitimate suppliers of choice to the end-user. •To proactively manage the sales territory by demonstrating good understanding of 3M Medical products,the territory and hospital and market plans •To drive all formulary items awarded and identify potential opportunities for growth in the region •To listen to the voice of the customer and satisfy the needs for the sustainable growth for 3M Medical. •Sales Entitlement Qualifications Education •Matric and tertiary qualification or currently studying towards a bachelors degree •Medicl Sciene Background and/or Bio-medical Engineering •Sales Course Experience •Minimum 5 years experience with key accounts experience •CSSD philosophy •Understanding of formulary processes, policy and procedures •Established contacts with various authorities •Proven track record in a Health Sector environment •5 Years sales experience preferable but not manditory Knowledge •Formulary Policy and Procedures •Of medical health care industry - mandatory •Competitive Health Care environment Key Capabilities •Selling and effective planning •Negociating •Health sector philosophy •Business channel development and management •High flexibility and initiative profile,strategic input •Lead by example, develops in-depth business plans, vision and broad thinking •Uses consultive sellin ## Type : Permanent ## Location : Johannesburg - Gauteng, South Africa
