We require a Quantity Surveyor with Road construction experience, of min 8 Years on EPCM level, for a Long Term/Perm Position in Tanzania ($ 6, 000.00 PM).

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or diploma in Civil Engineering;
• Proficiency in use of Auto-Cad 3d;

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

• At least 8 years relevant civil industry experience;

Suitable candidates should have knowledge of the following:

• Contract agreements FIDIC;
• Estimating & pricing of variations;
• Sub Contract Agreements;
• Contract financial reports and budgeting;
• Monthly Certificates, Claims & Final Accounting;
• Conformance to company policies/systems;

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Successful candidates will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

• Quantity Surveying functions including monthly valuations, variations, claims & entitlements, final accounts;
• Providing information to site management for compilation of reports;
• Liaising with relevant Employer Consultants;
• Contracting Administration and reporting in compliance with company procedures;
• Managing subcontract-valuations, payment & final accounting;

REMUNERATION:

$ 6000.00 PA;

The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position.

GENERAL NOTES:

All candidates should have good social skills, and ability to live in camp conditions throughout the project period. Accommodation and “full board” conditions will be provided on site.

The site operates 7 days a week. The site closes on month endings when workers will able to travel to the city.
