Positions open in Alrode, and Pretoria for a Welding Superintendent.

Requirements :
At least 8 years experience. Qualified Artisan. A qualification equivalent to NV.
Experience in production of components for supply to Eskom.
6 years experience in a supervisory and junior management position.
In depth understanding and knowledge of welding distortion control.
In-depth understanding and knowledge of welding and fabrication on various types of materials used in boilers and pressure vessels like carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, monel, inconel and special materials like x2 and T91.
Familiar with the process, consumables and machineries of GTAW, SNAW, SAW and FCAW in depth understanding and knowledge of ASME code and EN standards.
Working experience in the coded shop will be an advantage.
Computer literate.

Main Purpose : To manage the Welding Department to ensure that production and quality targets are met and ensure adherence to the company policies and procedures and health and safety principles.
