Job Details
This position is suited to an autonomous worker- someone who is able to make executive decisions, use their initiative to implement strategies in Underground and Open Pit Operations
CENTRAL AFRICA ROLE. FIFO/RESIDENTIAL
Being in a B&M mode (Bitchin'& Moaning) about your job, but bonuses are due in 3 months and you’re keen to take a drop in lolly and move into a nice little consulting job.......
That leaves me with little option other than to try and entice y'all to consider looking at this "main manne what counts" role in technical services with 4 direct reports at a Senior level covering everything from Projects to Geotech and of course Mine Planning/Scheduling out to a LOM level.
I love ambition as much as the next recruiter, (it’s been great for business) but this isn't a role for a Mining Engineer with 5 minutes experience and a big ego (we'll leave that for the production guys and gals looking to be UGM's), it’s really better suited to a Senior Mining Engineer who already holds the keys to the Strategic Plan, with at least 10 - 15 years experience.
Your background would be in LOM planning and scheduling, budgets, reserve reporting, infrastructure design as well as all that developing and transference of your skills to professionals who will more than likely up and out in 12 months leaving you to do their job too. It’s not all gloom and doom because even I was surprised at the package, but then it will have to be to get you to move. I know you're curious, so send me a resume.
For those who know us, I hope this brought a wee smile to an otherwise frustrating day on site because you too cannot find or retain staff!
Hopefully speak to you soon.
