it’s really better suited to a Senior Mining Engineer who already holds the keys to the Strategic Plan, with at least 10 - 15 years experience.

This senior position is suited to an autonomous worker- someone who is able to make executive decisions, use their initiative to implement strategies in  Underground and Open Pit Operations

This role offers the challenges that will invigorate even the most experienced of Mining Engineers, and would involve  amongst other things yearly forecasting and budgets performance tracking, capital expenditure justification for new projects, budget and reserve estimation,  Design construct and manage systems,  mentoring mining engineers and of course most importantly, driving the strategic direction of an expanding underground operation.

We need you to have a degree qualification in Mining Engineering with at least 10 -15 years experience in underground mining. Ideally you would have held a similar role or looking to take that next step into management.
