Planned succession has created the need for a mature, financially astute, strategic and execution orientated businessperson with a business degree and possibly but not essentially a technical qualification, to manage, implement, direct, control and add further impetus to the strategic growth initiatives of the company.

Applicants should be from a manufacturing or commodity retailing / reseller background and have a sound grasp of financial, marketing management principles and support systems.  Several years general and company management responsibility is essential, controlling and enhancing competently staffed financial, marketing, operational and technical support functions in a similarly medium sized (R400 million turnover per annum) business.

Strategic planning and execution, bottom line focus, strong negotiating skills and ability to grasp technical complexities are vital in carving a long term career.
