A well-established construction company focused on selected infrastructure, energy and mining opportunities is seeking the expertise of a Winder Manager / Mining Engineer (near Kempton Park).

Job Summary Statement:

Reporting to the Operations Director in the workshop - will need to take charge of all winders within Mining department, consisting of: refurbishment, installation, commissioning and de- commissioning.

Key Performance Areas (Duties & Responsibilities):

-Responsible for all winder repairs

-Monitoring and reporting on equipment status

-Responsible for winder installations, commissioning and de- commissioning

-Ability to identify and report any risk of component or equipment failure

-Recording information on Winder Log Books, job cards and timesheets

-Comply with all regulations of the MHSA

-Regularly audit the winders on the various sites

Academic Qualifications:

-S4, NDT or N6

Experience:

3 – 5 years winder installation and commissioning experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-Bilingual

-Working knowledge of MS Office and MS Projects
