The ideal candidate for this position must be able to communicate well with support personnel and external customers. The candidate must independently be able to interpret detailed functional specifications and develop software that functions exactly as s

• This position requires a working knowledge of value added services development for the telecommunications industry
• Minimum of 5 years Programming experience in C/C required
• Knowledge in the use and application of other programming languages, such as Perl, Java and SQL
• Development in an Object Oriented environment and/or Inherited Architecture is preferred
• Intermediary TCP/IP networking skills considered helpful
• Knowledge of SS7 networking and GSM systems is a plus
• Working knowledge of software version control systems, such as Subversion, is required
• General functional knowledge in one or more of the following areas is required: Solaris, Linux, BSD Socket API and MySQL
• Ability to lead a team of software developers to complete construction of software products
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years work experience, is required
