Minimum Requirements:

*Matric - essential
*IT Degree or higher diploma (NQF 6) - essential
*Current Microsoft MCSE Certification - essential
*ITIL Foundation Certification - essential
*DELL FTD Enterprise Server (PowerEdge & PowerVault) - essential
*Dell FTD Enterprise Switch (PowerConnect)- essential
*Experience in large IT department with an ITIL aligned service desk environment - essential
*Experience with Management of junior staff - essential
*Experience in IT project work and processes - essential
*6 years relevant and current IT technical and support experience of which 2 years must have been in a supervisory / management role

The role will require solid experience across the following:
* Troubleshooting, repair & maintenance of servers, network components and desktop equipment
* Project Management
* Process ownership
* Analysis, reasoning and deduction
* Service / Customer orientation
* Problem solving, solution finding
* Coaching, mentorship
* Established knowledge of IT products
* Knowledge of ITIL based technical processes
* Understanding of business impact of IT systems and components
